SILLY COURTCourt of Petty Grievances

Effective 4 July 2026

Terms of Service

The one document on this site written to be taken seriously.

The short version
  • Silly Court is comedy. Nothing here is legal advice or a real legal proceeding.
  • Everything you upload or file is your responsibility — only share what you have the right to share.
  • Only serve people who will laugh about it. You send the summons, not us.
  • The AI's verdicts are fiction and may be wrong. Do not rely on them for anything.
  • Named in a case and not amused? Email us and we will handle it.
  • We provide the Service as is, our liability is capped, and your pettiness is your own.

1. What Silly Court is (and very much is not)

Silly Court (“the Service”, “we”, “us”) is an entertainment website. It stages fictional, comedic, AI-generated “trials” of everyday disputes. It is parody.

Silly Court is not a court, not a law firm, and not a dispute-resolution service. Nothing on the Service is legal advice, legal opinion, or legal process. No verdict, sentence, transcript, summons, or document produced by the Service has any legal effect, anywhere, ever. The “Code of Petty Grievances” is a work of fiction. If you have a real legal problem, consult a real lawyer — they are far less fun, and far more useful.

2. Accepting these terms

By using the Service — including filing a case, answering a summons, uploading anything, or watching a trial — you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service. If you are under 16, you may use the Service only with a parent or guardian's permission.

3. Your content is yours — and your responsibility

Everything you submit (case descriptions, statements, answers, images, names, “evidence”) is your content. You keep ownership of it. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, display, and adapt it solely to operate the Service (including generating trials from it and, where you opt in, publishing it in the public Court Records).

By submitting content, you promise ALL of the following:

  • you have the right to share it, including any images and messages of other people;
  • it is not unlawful, defamatory, threatening, or harassing;
  • it does not include another person's private or sensitive information (addresses, financial details, health information, intimate images) without their consent;
  • it does not infringe anyone's copyright or other rights;
  • any dispute you file is in good humor and any person you serve is someone who will take it that way.

You alone are responsible for what you submit and who you send summons links to. We do not review content before it is processed, and we are not a party to any dispute between users. Summons links and emails are sent by you, not by us.

4. AI-generated content

Trials, dialogue, verdicts, analyst reports, and everything else the Service generates is produced by artificial intelligence for comedy. It is fiction. It may be inaccurate, exaggerated, or entirely wrong, including about you. You must not rely on it for any decision, and you must not present it as a real finding about any person. We are not responsible for what the fictional judge, jury, or lawyers say.

5. Removal of content; contact

If a case names you and you want it gone, or you believe content infringes your rights, contact us and we will review promptly. We may remove any content or terminate any case at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason — including content that breaks these Terms or simply smells like trouble. Contact: xcifer@gmail.com.

6. Privacy, storage, and AI processing

We store what you submit (case text, uploaded images, responses, verdicts) to operate the Service. To generate trials and read evidence, your submitted content is sent to third-party AI providers for processing. Do not upload anything you would not want processed by such services.

Cases are private by default and reachable only by their links; the public Court Records gallery contains only cases their filer chose to publish. You can request deletion of your case and its files at the contact address above.

7. Payments and case credits

Where offered, paid case credits are prepaid, consumed when a case is tried, and — to the extent permitted by applicable law — non-refundable once consumed. Unused credits remain usable while the Service operates. Prices may change; already-purchased credits are honored. The first case being free is a gift, not a right, and may change.

8. Acceptable use

  • No using the Service to harass, defame, threaten, or embarrass anyone for real.
  • No serving strangers, minors, employers' HR departments, or actual courts.
  • No attempts to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service.
  • No attempts to manipulate the court from inside the case file — the judge notices, and it is contempt (C.P.G. § 1.4).
  • No unlawful content of any kind.

9. The Service is provided AS IS

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, or that the jury will like you. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, reputational harm, hurt feelings, lost friendships, divorces, family dinner atmospheres, or the outcome of any real or fictional dispute, arising from your use of the Service or any content on it — even if advised of the possibility. Our total aggregate liability for all claims is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD 10. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. You indemnify us

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Silly Court and its operators from any claim, demand, damages, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from the content you submit, the people you serve, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or of anyone's rights. In plain words: if your pettiness causes real legal trouble, that trouble is yours.

12. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for any breach of these Terms. Sections 3–11 and 13–14 survive termination.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; the current version always lives at this address with its effective date. Continued use after a change means acceptance. Material changes to paid features will be flagged on the Service.

14. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, and any dispute that survives everyone's better judgment belongs exclusively to the courts of Denmark. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest remain in force. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
